Roles & Permissions

InfluDM has one workspace per user and three roles inside it.

The roles

RoleHow you get it
OwnerYou created the workspace by signing up.
AdminAn admin invited you as one, or promoted you.
MemberAn admin invited you as one, or demoted you.

What each role can do

AreaOwnerAdminMember
View flows, contacts, leads
Create, edit, activate, delete flows
Connect / disconnect Instagram accounts
Refresh Instagram tokens
Create and edit lead forms
Export leads to CSV
Rename workspace, change currency
Invite, promote, demote, remove members
Buy, renew, downgrade a plan; redeem codes
Edit billing details
Set referral payout details, request payouts
Be removed or demoted by an admin

The owner's row is fixed in the member list: no role dropdown, no remove button. Admins can do everything except touch the owner.

Members are read-only, not restricted

A member sees everything — every contact, every lead, every flow — they just can't change any of it. That's the point of the role: a VA, an analyst or a client who needs full visibility without the ability to break a live automation.

There is no per-account or per-flow scoping. Visibility is all-or-nothing at the workspace level.

One workspace per user

A user belongs to exactly one workspace, permanently:

  • Sign up on your own → you own a new workspace.
  • Get invited → you land in the inviter's workspace and never get your own.

There's no workspace switcher, and a user can't be moved between workspaces. If you need a separate workspace, sign up again with a different email.

Inviting someone

An admin enters an email and a role. A login is created and the person lands directly in your workspace the first time they sign in.

Inviting requires a plan with the team-members feature. Where included, the number of people is unlimited. See Plans, Quotas & Limits.

Removing someone

Removing revokes access immediately. Nothing they created is deleted — flows, lead forms and leads belong to the workspace, not the person.

Deleting an account

What deletion destroys depends on the role:

  • Owner — the entire workspace and everyone in it.
  • Admin or member — only that person's seat.

See Account.
