Plans, Quotas & Limits

How InfluDM meters usage, and what happens at each ceiling.

Priced per Instagram account

A plan's price is the price of one Instagram account. You choose a quantity at checkout and pay that many times over. The quantity is what your account allowance is built from.

Adding accounts mid-period is prorated — you pay only for the days left in the current period. See Billing & Plans.

The two quotas

QuotaScales with quantityBehaviour at the limit
Instagram accountsYesConnecting another account is refused.
ContactsNo — fixed per planAll automation stops for the workspace.

A quota with no value is unlimited.

Feature gates

Separate from quotas, plans carry yes/no feature flags. Today that's team members: where the plan includes it, you can invite an unlimited number of people; where it doesn't, the invite form is unavailable. See Workspace & Team.

The contact high-water mark

This is the rule that surprises people most, so it's worth stating plainly:

The contact counter only ever goes up.

It increments each time a genuinely new person interacts with one of your flows. It is never decremented — not when you disconnect an Instagram account, not when the contacts themselves are deleted along with it.

The reasoning is that the allowance measures people reached, not rows stored. If disconnecting gave the allowance back, a workspace could recycle the same allowance indefinitely.

What happens when contacts run out

Automation stops cleanly rather than half-running:

  • New incoming events are dropped. Nothing is queued for later — the event is gone.
  • Conversations already in progress are not resumed.
  • Your existing data stays exactly as it is.

Upgrading raises the ceiling and automation resumes for new events. The events missed while you were over the limit are not replayed.

Account allowance and paused accounts

If your allowance ever falls below the number of accounts you have connected — a plan lapsing, or a downgrade taking effect — the excess accounts are paused, not deleted:

  • Their flows, contacts and leads are untouched.
  • Every webhook for them is dropped while paused.
  • They're switched back on automatically when the allowance grows again.

A downgrade below your currently connected count is refused outright at checkout — disconnect the extras first.

Quotas are snapshotted at purchase

When you buy a plan, its quotas and feature flags are copied onto your workspace. Later edits to the plan catalogue — a price change, a quota change — never retroactively change what you paid for.

The free plan

Every workspace starts on the permanent free plan. It's the floor: you're never dropped below it, and it never expires.

Renewal timing

There's no auto-charge. The Renew button unlocks:

  • 7 days before the end of a monthly period.
  • 30 days before the end of a yearly period.

Renewing extends the existing period rather than replacing it, so paying early never costs you days you already have. Once a plan has lapsed there's nothing left to extend, so the new period runs from the day you pay.

Lifetime plans never expire and have nothing to renew.
