Signing In
InfluDM accounts are separate from your Instagram login. You create an InfluDM account first, then connect one or more Instagram accounts to it.
Ways to sign in
| Method | Notes |
|---|---|
| One click. Your name and email come from your Google profile. | |
| One click. Unrelated to connecting Instagram — that's a separate step. | |
| Email + password | You choose a name, email and password. |
Connecting Instagram is a different step
Signing in with Facebook does not connect an Instagram account. Instagram is connected from inside the app, through Instagram's own login. See Instagram Accounts.
Creating an account with email
- On the login screen, switch to Sign up.
- Enter your name, email and password.
- If email confirmation is enabled, you'll be told to check your inbox. Click the link, then sign in.
Your first login creates a workspace — your tenant inside InfluDM — on the free plan. Everything you create (Instagram accounts, flows, contacts, leads) belongs to that workspace.
Forgot your password
- Click Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
- Enter your email and submit.
- You'll always see the same confirmation, whether or not that address has an account — this is deliberate, so the page can't be used to discover which emails are registered.
- Open the emailed link (it expires in an hour) and set a new password.
Signing in when you were invited
If a workspace admin invites you, an account is created for you and you land straight in their workspace — you don't create your own. Use the email address the invite was sent to. A user belongs to exactly one workspace; there is no workspace switching.
See Roles & Permissions.
Changing your email or password
Both live under Settings → General:
- Email address — enter the new address and confirm. For security, confirmation links are sent to both the old and the new address; the change takes effect only once they're opened. Until then you keep signing in with the old one. Changing it here does not change the email on your Google or Facebook login, and that button keeps working.
- Password — enter your current password and the new one twice. If you only ever signed in with Google or Facebook you'll see Set a password instead, which lets you add email sign-in alongside the social button.
See Account.
Signing out
Use the Log out control at the bottom of the sidebar. Signing out doesn't affect running automations — flows keep responding to Instagram events whether or not anyone is logged in.
